Jumeirah Frankfurt Hotel
I traveled along the Romantic Road in Bavaria Germany, my travel story on that trip is coming out soon.
I landed in Frankfurt and traveled from there to Wuzburg the first stop along the Romantic Road.
While in Frankfurt I simply couldn’t miss out on the opportunity of staying at the Jumeirah Frankfurt Hotel. A 5-star lush luxury hotel part of the Jumeirah hotels chain.
Since I’ve recently done my Jumeriah Beacon training, which is a free short course I can access, learning about all the luxury Jumeriah resorts around the world, I knew what their gem hotel in Frankfurt had to offer, and I would have been mad to miss out on experiencing a stay there.
It’s a 5-star hotel but it’s not your ordinary 5-star hotel, Jumeirah Frankfurt is a lavish hotel of urban sophistication in the heart of Frankfurt. One of the tallest buildings in the heart of the city, so when you are promised a panoramic view, you get don’t just get a panoramic view, you get the view of a whole city at your toes!
The only hotel in the city that can offer a view of the drop-dead gorgeous Frankfurt skyline, view of the mountains in the distance, and the lush urban sunset.
Each room is decorated with original artwork. Your breakfast is served with golden honey from their own skyline beehives, so are the drinks at the bar, just ask the bartender for their latest cocktail or mocktail. Their restaurants offer signature dining that you can request to be delivered to the comfort of your room.
The hotel has its renowned Talise spa, I haven’t tried it personally (due to COVID restrictions) but from the service that I’ve had and seen in the hotel, I can trust it would deliver well on its promise of being an oasis of tranquility. There’s also a top-notch fitness center, that you can use to burn off the calories from all of the gorgeous food you’ll be having.
The hotel has a superb location right in the heart of the city and right next door to its bustling shopping district, you’ll never be too far from shopping, dining, or an exploring experience.
Yes, all of that comes with a hefty price tag, but I won’t be a savvy traveler if I didn’t have a way up my sleeve to circumvent that! I booked a deluxe room, however to my pleasure that was upgraded on my arrival to a panoramic suite #sograteful.
Do you know that big glass corner office with an amazing view that they keep showing in American movies, the one that almost everyone in the company wants to have? Well, the suite I got was miles bigger and better than that!
A corner suite with windows floor to ceiling on almost two of its sides giving you the feel of you walking on a ledge with the whole city under your feet… The bed was situated in a way that you’d go to sleep above the city and wake up with the sun rising over it.
The bathroom, well that was nearly the size of my flat! You’d walk in and there’s a dressing wardrobe, a rainforest shower, his and her illuminating marble sinks, a TV built in the mirror, another massive mirror, the bathtub, and a separate toilet. You’d walk in the bathroom from the bedside and come out of it from the living side of the room… Spectacular design!
Oh, yes the toiletries were from aromatherapy!
Two TVs, because one apparently wasn’t enough, one above the bed and another in the living area. A very pretty glass desk with a lush suede chair and a Jumeirah iPad, a minibar, a Nespresso machine, and a massive original piece of art decorated the rest of the suite. Oh, and you get signature design slippers to keep your toes toasty.
On one of the evenings of my stay, the general manager of the hotel led a private skyline tour, after having drinks at the bar.
The lovely melt in your mouth swiss chocolates and beautiful fresh flowers you see up there were a complimentary surprise from the front desk to welcome my arrival.
