Best restaurants around the world – part 2

Best restaurents around the world

A few weeks ago I shared 5 of my top favorite spots around the world, some are fast food, others are romantic dinner spots … If you missed them you can check them out here Best restaurants around the world.

Here are 5 more places from around the world that are definitely worth pinning on your wishlist.

Matsusakagyu Yakiniku Restaurant

You can’t be in Osaka and not go for a meal at Matsusakagyu Yakiniku M, Hozenji Yokocho restaurant!

You may not be able to pronounce the name fluently but trust me the food is so easy to flow to your mouth.

This is where you can find some of the finest Wagyu beef in Japan, the meat is so tender it melts in your mouth!

I’m not surprised since the cows get daily massages and drink beer while they are reared … Talk about living it up while you’re still alive.

The ambiance in the restaurant is lovely, you get to sit in private booths with built-in grill tables, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They would spend as much time with you to help you decide what’s the best meat for you to order.

It is a place that will not disappoint and earned its spot on the list of best restaurants around the world. Click here to check it out.

L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele

I have two places to recommend here in Naples, the first is a traditional family-owned pizza place.

Once you eat here Pizza will never be the same to you ever again! L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele is a small unassuming place on a small street in Naples. It also served as a filming location for Eat, Love, Pray.

At peak times be prepared to queue, so head there as early as you can. The Margherita with extra cheese is a dream… It felt I was having an affair with the pizza slice as I was eating it.

Seriously no words can do it justice.

If you are in Naples, you should eat there, if you don’t manage to eat there, lie to me and tell me you did – it’s just a crime not to. Click here to check it out.

Il comandante

The second place I would recommend is Il comandante, a one Michelin star restaurant at the top of Romeo Hotel on Naples waterside.

The restaurant only serves dinner, and the menu only holds three options, a 3-course, a 6-course, or an 8-course meal of the chef’s surprise creations.

I must say it was a journey of culinary exploration for me. We went for the 6-course meal, and it was one pleasant surprise after another … from cheese soup with a baked egg to a thyroid gland to duck to seafood to classic Italian risotto, etc. all cooked in a superb way, with the dimmed restaurant lighting the view of the marina it all just adds another dimension to the food… definitely, an experience to savor and one to go back to.

p.s You can ask for certain items not to be included in the dishes if you don’t eat them or are allergic.

Alila

When in Bali, stay in Alila. Simples.

Alila is a 5-star luxury hotel and villas resort where you can choose to stay in a double bedroom or in a private villa with a private pool or anything in between. I will share more about my stay there on my hotel reviews but for now, let’s dive into the food.

The breakfast is an all-you-can-eat a la carte menu with fresh bakery, fresh smoothies made with island greens and fruits, cooked or cold options are available, all are super lush and served with a big smile.

The lunch and dinner menus are extensive and reflect the island’s culture and cuisine. All ingredients are fresh and homegrown. They host amazing grills, buffets, a la carte and even give you the opportunity to go fishing for your own meal and have it cooked to your liking!

It was an enchanting stay; the food defiantly added a good thick layer of happiness on top of all the magic that Alila gave me.

Moor Hall

For special occasions or simply treating yourself, Moor Hall will not let you down.

Decorated with two Michelin stars, a glass front overlooking a lake, and five acres of land surrounding the establishment; the place is both a culinary and an architectural delight. They strive to give you the best dining experience possible.

The food was perfection, the service was like no other and the dining experience was exceptional but what really won my heart was their cheese room. Don’t miss out on visiting the cheese room and selecting your cheeseboard, the meal wouldn’t be complete without it! Click here to check it out.
